Give your phone a new job.

1. Install Camlora from its verified Google Play listing when available.
2. Connect the phone to the same trusted Wi-Fi as your computer. Avoid guest networks that isolate devices.
3. Open Camlora and allow camera access. Microphone access is optional; video can work without it.
4. Keep the app open for the first connection. Note the address and port on its screen; the default port is 5959.

Only stream people and spaces you have permission to capture. The phone’s notification lets you stop the stream.

Bring the picture to your desktop.

1. Install the Windows companion from the verified download.
2. Open Camlora. Select the discovered phone, or enter its local address and port manually.
3. Connect and confirm that the preview is live.
4. Choose Start webcam. First-time camera registration requires administrator approval. Read the Windows prompt before approving.
5. Keep Camlora and its camera helper running while you use the webcam.

Choose Camlora. Find your angle.

1. Open your meeting or recording app’s camera settings.
2. Select Camlora or Camlora (Windows Virtual Camera). Reopen the receiving app if the new camera is not listed.
3. Select your usual headset or computer microphone. Camlora does not provide a system-wide microphone in this release.
4. Position your phone securely at eye level, or point it at your desk. Start at 720p and increase quality if the connection remains smooth.
5. Finish by stopping the webcam on Windows and stopping streaming on the phone.
